As a Senior/Principal Product Manager, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our AI-driven water industry software, ensuring it meets the needs of our customers and to drive growth in the market.
We are seeking a dynamic and visionary Senior/Principal Product Manager to lead our AI products in the water industry. The ideal candidate will have deep experience AI technology and practices, training in civil or industrial engineering, strong business skills and proven product management skills. You will be responsible for overseeing the entire product lifecycle, from ideation and development to launch and post-launch enhancements, driving strategic decision-making to create innovative AI solutions.
Responsibilities
Develop and execute a comprehensive product strategy and roadmap for AI-driven products in the water industry, aligning with the company's overall vision and objectives
Conduct thorough market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities, trends, and potential areas for product differentiation within the water industry
Collaborate closely with customers, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to understand their pain points and requirements, translating these insights into product features and enhancements
Work closely with data scientists and engineers to integrate advanced AI algorithms and technologies into our water industry portfolio, leveraging machine learning, data analytics, and automation to optimize plant operations
Assess the financial viability and potential ROI of new product initiatives, preparing detailed business cases to support decision-making and secure necessary resources
Lead the product development process, defining clear product specifications, setting milestones, and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality solutions
Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to devise effective go-to-market strategies, positioning AI products as industry-leading solutions, and enabling successful product launches
Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and establish metrics to monitor the performance of AI products post-launch, implementing improvements and optimizations as needed
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. MBA or other business degree is preferred
Proven track record of at least 8-10 years in software product management roles with 2+ years managing a commercially-available AI solution
Pragmatic, SVPG or other high-quality product management training preferred
Strong business acumen, including experience in pricing, financial analysis, market research, and product strategy development.
In-depth knowledge of water modeling and treatment processes, technologies, and challenges faced in the industry
Strong understanding of AI and machine learning concepts and practices, with the ability to comprehend complex technical aspects and communicate them effectively to non-technical stakeholders
Experience with AWS machine learning toolchain (SageMaker Studio/Notebooks, SageMaker model-building pipelines and endpoints) strongly preferred
Experience with AWS Forecast a plus
Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with a collaborative and empowering approach
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills to engage with customers, executives, and cross-functional teams effectively

Salary transparency
Salary is one part of Autodesk’s competitive compensation package. For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $130,800 and $211,640. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries, we also have a significant emphasis on annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
