The Sustainable Water Institute was created on March 22, 2016 to promote the sustainable use of water with projects, studies, research and scientific and educational events.

Our Mission

To promote the defense, preservation, and conservation of the water environment along with the sustainable, economic and social development of its use.

Objectives

• Create and carry out projects and research to save, preserve and conserve the water environment focused on the application of concepts and technologies that promote the sustainable, economic and social development;
• Promote studies and research that develop technologies to protect, preserve and conserve water;
• Congregate professionals, technicians, and people interested in the development of studies and research focused on the protection, preservation, and conservation of water;
• Produce and disseminate technical and scientific knowledge and information focused on the protection, preservation, and conservation of water through the organization of events;
• Promote studies and research that aim to create adequate standards, rules, and laws related to the objectives of this institute;
• Foster and maintain cooperation and exchange with similar associations or institutions, private or public, which activities are related to the objectives of this institute;
