We are currently looking for a Water Treatment Engineer to join the existing team at one of London premier live arts and music venues. The successful candidate will have a wealth of experience to add to an already technical team that currently covers the building on a shift pattern. You will be required to work Monday to Friday, 8am - 5pm and be awarded a salary reflective of your skill set and experience.
Roles & Responsibilities:
To implement the building services, planned preventative maintenance (PPM) programme and reactive maintenance (RM) in accordance with the building operational requirements and in compliance with the contract service levels:
- Provide the operational service level to ensure contract KPI’s are achieved
- Ensure that a consistent level of service delivery is provided
- Ensure the smooth and effective operation of the facilities under control within the scope of the contract with understanding of Contract SLA and KPI
- Keep all site records and support the preparation of reports as required ensuring contract reporting requirements are met
- Manage water treatment compliance logbooks for domestic water services, cooling towers and humidification systems
- Carryout critical control tasks (weekly monitoring) for domestic water services, cooling towers and humidification systems in line with HSG 274 guidance
- Assist with management of third-party contractors.
- To complete all planned preventative maintenance (PPM) & reactive activities on all water systems as required
- To achieve a prompt effective response to emergency situations being capable to diagnose issues and initiating action plans where applicable
- Effective communication with the helpdesk ensuring accurate information is maintained at all times.
- Conduct work in accordance with current legislation, British Standards, Codes of Practice, Safe Systems of work and recognized industrial standards for such work, minimizing damage to the fabric of the property
Qualifications and Experience:
- IOSH or NEBOSH
- Legionella Control and Management of Hot and Cold Water Services and Evaporative Cooling Systems
- Technical or professional (Electrical, Mechanical, Plumbing etc)
