As global supply and demand for water intensifies, solving the world’s most complex water challenges demands different thinking – and that’s where we come in. 

We’re seeking a Conveyance Engineer to join our team in our Albuquerque office. Someone who can use their experience in the water industry and apply it to today’s challenges. 

As a valued Jacobs employee, you will work with multi-disciplinary teams to achieve successful design of conveyance facilities and help lead clients to the correct treatment approach by utilizing desktop calculations, leading a design team to implement world-class solutions, and coordinating with clients to deliver industry leading projects. 

You'll have the opportunity to work on optimization, modeling, cost analysis, preliminary/detailed design, permitting, and construction engineering services. You'll assist with design and planning for conveyance projects including pump design, hydraulics and modeling.
  
This position may support local business development efforts and help in the pursuit of new projects, as well as work directly with clients on the projects and tasks that you are leading, developing long-term client relationships. While remote working will likely be more commonplace following the pandemic, our Englewood, Colorado Water Resources team is looking for someone who is local to the Colorado Front Range and Denver metropolitan area. Our team expects to return to in-person meetings with clients following the pandemic, as well as supporting construction observation for projects under construction.

Here’s What You’ll Need:

Bachelor’s Degree in civil, chemical, environmental or mechanical engineering. 
Professional experience in relevant conveyance engineering 

Strong communication skills, both written and oral 
Self-motivated, initiator; demonstrated through professional society involvements or related activities 
Professional Engineer (PE) Licensure 

Ideally, You’ll Also Have:   

Master’s Degree

Typical salary range for this position is $80,900 to $127,500 , and is commensurate with experience relative to the position.
