Title: (Senior) Manager Business Development (m/f/d) - Advanced Water Treatment and Digital Solutions

We are currently looking for an experienced (Senior) Business Development Manager (m/f/d) with focus on Advanced Water Treatment and Digital Solutions within our Industry and Water segment. The main purpose of the role is to lead the segment’s strategic growth in the digitalaly enabled business areas. In this position you will directly report to the VP Strategy & Business Development for Industry & Water. This position can be located in one of our main locations in Europe or USA.
Your responsibilities will include:
- To create the digital future for Kemira’s Industry & Water segment including the development of the technology road map and detailed commercialization plans
- Identify and evaluate opportunities for Advanced Water Treatment and digitally enhanced business models for the segment
- Develop business models and conduct validation for each new development case using best practices
- Scout for technologies relevant to Advanced Water Treatment & Digital Solutions from start-ups to multinationals, for the most promising solutions that meet the needs of Kemira’s Industry & Water segment
- Support Advanced Water Treatment portfolio management
- Manage partnerships with external and internal stakeholders across the value chain in the Oil, Gas and Water industries.
- Lead key projects and provide business ownership to all Advanced Water Treatments and digital projects
- Merger & Acquisition business case development of targeted technologies

What you need:
- Academic degree: Master in Engineering, Chemistry, Technology or similar
- To be self driven and goal orientated with an entrepreneurial mindset
- Proven track record demonstrating at least one solid case of successfully taking an idea from concept to commercialization
- Experience in development and implementation of a digitally enhanced business model in a corporation
- To be capable of visionary insight and provide concrete examples
- Understanding and experience in developing and executing new business models
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate challenging concepts in simple terms
- Excellent project management and leadership skills
- Ideally strong customer network in Industry & Water and strong external partner network in Advanced Water Treatment and Digitization
- Ideally experience with Mergers & Acquistions
- Strong written, visual and oral communication skills in English
- Strong ability to engage and manage expectations of diverse internal and external stakeholders globally
- Willingness to travel globally on a regular basis
