Develops long-range strategic plans for assigned product or services, and manages the development of annual marketing and business plans at the Sector level. Directs the activities of Brand Managers, internal resources and outside advertising agencies in order to meet stated business plans.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Vice President of Strategic Marketing to lead the development and execution of the marketing strategies that align with the Group’s goals and objectives. The successful candidate will work with multiple businesses within the group to ensure successful implementation of their marketing initiatives and to drive brand awareness, customer acquisition, and revenue growth.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage the Group marketing strategy; specially identifying intra- business opportunities working with company Marketing, Commercial & Innovation teams.
- Liaison with company Commercial and Marketing teams and the Corporate Strategic Marketing team to ensure proper alignment and resourcing
- Work with Group & Company Leadership to identify market opportunities; specially helping with marketing analysis and intelligence.
- Learn, deploy & train Group leaders on Marmon Strategic Marketing tools and processes
- Developing and execute marketing strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives. This may include market research, customer insights, segmentation, and targeting.
- Assist Group and BU Presidents in defining new market opportunities
- Work with Business Units to develop marketing strategies that aligns with business objectives and drives revenue growth.
- Lead and work with a teams to execute marketing programs, including product launches, promotional campaigns, and customer retention initiatives.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including cross-functional teams, executives, and external partners.
- Measure and report on the effectiveness of marketing programs, using data and insights to continuously improve performance and drive revenue growth.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in marketing, with a focus on strategic marketing and revenue growth.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with experience leading and managing high-performing marketing teams.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies that drive revenue growth.
- Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to use data to make informed decisions and measure the effectiveness of marketing programs.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence key stakeholders.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
