About

MetroPac Water Investments Corp. (MWIC) is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Metro Pacific Investments Corporation (PSE: MPI). MWIC is the lead investor of the Metro Pacific group for water projects outside Greater Manila Area.

MWIC has an effective interest of 20% in Cebu Manila Water Development, Inc. which supplies 35,000 cubic meters per day of bulk water to Metro Cebu Water District.

MWIC operates the 100,000 cubic meter per day water treatment facility of Rio Verde Water Corp., which supplies more than 80% of the water requirement of Cagayan de Oro City.

Its parent,  Metro Pacific Investments Corp. (PSE: MPI), is the country’s leading infrastructure investment company with interests across five infrastructure sectors: water, power, tollroads, hospitals, and light rail.

MWIC's affiliate company Maynilad Water Services, Inc. is the largest water company in the Philippines, serving a population of more than 9 million people in Greater Manila Area.
