National School of Engineers of Tunis
About
Founded towards the end of the sixties, ENIT is the dean of the engineering schools in Tunisia.
During the eighties, it has spread, some of the youngest engineering schools enriching today the Tunisian panorama of engineering training. Finally, ENIT has been, and continues to be, a renewable breeding ground for experts and senior government officials with recognized skills in the fields of higher education, research and engineering.
ENIT today has three complementary missions:
- training engineers to obtain diplomas in professions that meet the real or potential needs of the market,
- Continuous and distance learning to sharpen the performance of practising engineers,
- research, innovation and transfer of know-how through technological development and entrepreneurship.
The nine (9) ENIT streams are : Civil Engineering (GC), Electrical Engineering (GE), Hydraulic and Environmental Engineering (GHE), Industrial Engineering (GI), Mechanical Engineering (GM), Computer Science (Info), Modelling for Industry and Services (MIndS), Advanced Techniques (TA) and Telecommunications (Telecom). These nine fields are managed by five departments: Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Information and Communication Technologies.
