A Day in The Life
- Design drip irrigation systems projects including water supply, pumps, head control, filtration, fertilization, and control systems, from concept stage to final design.
- Integrate various aspects including agronomy, agro-mechanics, hydraulics, electricity and control, civil engineering [roads, drains, reservoirs, canals, etc.], as an integral part of the planning.
- Prepare engineering products, including drawings, plans, bills of quantities, specifications, etc. and take part in the preparation of quotations and execution planning.
- Coordinate the design team's activities involving the client, implementor, draftsman and pricing.
- Serve as a specialist and organizational source of knowledge in irrigation design
- Improve and advance the design tools, methods, planning processes and work processes
What you'll need
- Bs.C. In civil engineering, agricultural engineering, or similar degree.
- Experience in designing similar systems specifically hydraulics and infrastructure design.
- Proficiency and familiarity with computerized design systems, specifically CAD and GIS environment.
- Creative, able to learn independently, and can work thoroughly, with accuracy and great attention to details.
- Good interpersonal skills and open to new ideas.
- Ability to travel abroad
- Background and previous experience in agriculture or agronomy – advantage.
- At least 3 years of experience in planning – advantage.
- Proficient in English.
