Electrocoagulation-flotation Lab Reactor
Published on by Dries Parmentier, Project manager at Noah Water Solutions for Noah Water Solutions
We are a start-up company working on industrial waste water treatment via electrocoagulation-flotation.
It is our believe that the implementation of this technology is necessary to reach the sustainable development goals. Recently, we developed a lab reactor from our industrial installations that got the attention of universities. The design of our reactor is unique compared to conventional electrocoagulation systems as we work with a vertically placed coaxial tubular reactor. Hydrogen bubbles generated in our electrical cell are directly applied to float the Al/Fe flocs in the floc tower installed above the electrical cell. Which eliminates the usage of an additional DAF unit and results in a drier sludge. For more info see the technical specifications on our website. As to our believe still a lot of fundamental research and experience is necessary to industrially accept this technology, we decided to commercialise our lab reactor. See our website www.noahlabreactor.com
Combined with our lab reactor we would like to start an online community around electrocoagulation. If interested do not hesitate to contact me or check our website.
