Manager – Business Development & Sales

Organica is currently looking to fill a Manager – Business Development & Sales position, Brazil reporting to the Business Head – Region 3
Summary of Responsibilities
- Business Development & Sales Strategy:
- Develop and implement strategic business development and sales plans to expand market presence
- Identify and generate new business opportunities, increasing the company’s sales pipeline
- Conduct market research to analyze trends, competition, and customer needs
- Build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, including potential customers and industry partners
- Collaborate with marketing and product development teams to enhance business growth initiatives
- Government & EPC Contractor Engagement:
- Establish and maintain relationships with key decision-makers in governmental and private environmental and wastewater management sectors
- Work closely with EPC contractors to identify business opportunities and participate in government tenders
- Develop strong partnerships with EPC contractors to strengthen the company’s market position
- Market Intelligence & Industry Engagement:
- Stay up to date with industry trends, regulations, and emerging opportunities through active participation in seminars, forums, and networking events
- Gather and analyze market intelligence on upcoming projects, competitors, and industry developments
- Coordinate with clients during the bid preparation process, ensuring timely submission of proposals
- Proposal Development & Internal Coordination:
- Lead the development and submission of proposals, bids, and tenders, ensuring alignment with client needs and business goals
- Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, marketing, and product teams to ensure cohesive communication and execution of strategies
- Maintain accurate records of business development activities and report progress to senior management
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or Engineering field
- Proven experience in sales, business development, or marketing within the wastewater management or environmental sector
- Strong knowledge of marketing strategies, sales processes, and business development techniques
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team in a fast-paced, remote environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency in conducting market research and competitive analysis
