LEAD ENVIRONMENTS ENGINEER

Ovarro are going through an exciting period of transformation and change with a supercharged focus on culture and sustainability. Although our name is new, Ovarro has been around for a long time and our tech underpins critical infrastructure across the world.  We are now looking to grow our team by hiring an Environments Manager to take ownership for the provision of Environments required by the Project teams and Product Development.

You will add impact at Ovarro by;

• Planning, maintaining and providing technical support for Environments – both physical and virtual
• Ensuring Environment requirements are achieved in support of projects and customer needs
• Engaging with other Ovarro Project and Support Teams and third parties to provide the required environments for Development and Test
• Ensure that the technical standards are maintained in all aspects of implementation work in order to achieve reliability and stability
• Liaising with customer and internal colleagues to overcome unforeseen design issues and resolve technical challenges.

Candidates should have;

• Experience of IT systems implementation
• Strong Linux knowledge
• Excellent stakeholder management, negotiation and communication skills
• Experience in a SaaS environment is desirable
• SCADA/Telemetry or Controls systems experience advantageous
