Water/Wastewater Project Manager

This prime opportunity will allow a water/wastewater engineer to fast-track their career at a rapidly growing company, supported by a diverse and highly qualified team. Individuals without prior project management experience will be considered for this position if they can demonstrate the desire to be trained for a project management role.

Requirements:

Lead Wastewater Conveyance & Treatment Engineer

Mead & Hunt is seeking a lead wastewater conveyance & treatment engineer to join their growing water/wastewater team and help maintain their excellent reputation and extensive backlog within Texas. This position will be responsible for wastewater utility systems project management and design, including pumping, lift stations, pipelines, metering, wholesale water delivery, and storage tanks. A successful candidate will have experience working on wastewater conveyance and treatment plants. Projects may also include ductwork and odor control system planning and coordination, depending on location. As the candidate will be responsible for leading a multidisciplinary team and will be supported by Mead & Hunt’s permitting and regulatory group throughout the design process, regular coordination/communication will be critical.

 

Requirements:

Water/Wastewater Private Systems Engineering Specialist

Mead & Hunt is seeking an experienced water/wastewater systems engineering specialist to join their growing water/wastewater practice in Texas. This position will be responsible for leading a multidisciplinary team designing a wide range of water and wastewater projects for both private utilities and municipal clients throughout Texas. Work will include the procurement, design, and construction of smaller (generally less than 1MGD) wastewater treatment systems, as well as the design of lift stations, water pumping stations, and water storage systems. Projects for this group move quickly, offering water wastewater professionals an exciting, highly rewarding assortment of work.

 

Candidates do not need to have experience working on private water/wastewater projects as long as they have the desire to work on development-driven fast-paced projects throughout Texas. The Mead & Hunt team is supported by a permitting and regulatory group, so knowledge of the regulatory environment is preferred. Engineers on this team regularly manage or partner with other disciplines on project components such as wastewater lift stations, water pumping stations, water storage, pump design, well design, and permitting, so the ability to collaborate across disciplines is of benefit.

Water Resources Project Manager
