Founded in 1988, APDA ( Portuguese Water Supply and Waste Water Association ) is the Portuguese most representative Association of Water Supply and Waste Water Services, covering all the country.

APDA is a non-profit association that represents and defends the interests of all the companies responsible for the water supply and wastewater Services in Portugal and an indispensable partner in the definition and implementation of the water policies at national and international levels.

The intensive and productive activity of APDA is supported by eight Specialized Commissions and three Working Groups, covering all the significant fields of modern concepts of strategic water management .

APDA facilitates and promotes events, partnerships and joint initiatives between different partners, thus positioning itself as a forum for innovation and sustainability related to projects, technologies and competences.
