Overview

Primoris Water and Mechanical is in search of an experienced Superintendent in the Rivera Beach, FL area.  The Superintendent will provide overall on-site technical management on water/wastewater construction project sites.
 

Responsibilities

• Supervise total construction effort to ensure project is constructed in accordance with design, budget, and schedule. Includes interfacing with Client representatives and other contractors, etc.
• Plan, coordinate, and supervise on-site construction activities by direct hire employees and subcontractors.
• Work with project management to develop and implement project schedules and approach.
• Assume responsibility for productivity of crafts, efficient use of materials and equipment, and contractual performance of the project.
• Lead the on-site construction team in the planning and execution of safe work practices.
• Perform additional assignments per supervisor’s direction.

Qualifications

• 5 – 10 years’ experience in construction in the water/wastewater industry.  Experienced supervisors with similar experience in pulp and paper or industrial backgrounds will be considered.
• Thorough knowledge of all aspects of construction (technology, equipment, methods) and safety required.
• Excellent communication, organization, and supervisory skills essential.
• Ability to motivate and train team members.

Mechanical: specializes in the installation of underground hydronic piping systems.

Water: specializes in the construction and rehabilitation of water, wastewater, and reclaimed water treatment facilities.
