PT Procter & Gamble Indonesia operates as a subsidiary of The Procter & Gamble Company.
The presence of P & G in Indonesia was initiated by PT Richardson Merrel Indonesia (MRI) in 1970 through the Vicks brand which was later acquired by P & G in 1979. The presence of MRI in Indonesia was replaced by the establishment of PT Procter & Gamble Indonesia in 1989 and later became PT. Procter & Gamble Home Products Indonesia in 1997 to the present.
