Industrial Ultrafiltration UF Systems

Our industrial ultrafiltration systems range from 10,800 to 1,000,000 GPD . Ultrafiltration is a pressure-driven membrane separation process that removes suspended or particulate matter (including colloids & silt) from water. Ultrafiltration is more reliable than conventional multimedia filtration that removes particles of 10 microns in size or larger. Ultrafiltration also efficiently removes bacteria and most viruses.
Ultrafiltration systems eliminate the need for clarifiers and multimedia filters. Standard design is based on a UF module with outside-in flow configuration which allows for less plugging, higher solids loading, higher flow area and easy cleaning.

Membrane Cleaning Systems CIP

The membrane cleaning skid is designed for manual operation through a local control box located on the skid. A chemical storage tank is mounted on its own stand and connected to the membrane cleaning skid with either hard PVC piping or quick disconnect fittings and flexible hoses. This gives the unit the ability to be mounted in a permanent location or totally portable if desired. The piping is schedule 80 PVC that is hydrostatically tested at the factory. The electrical enclosure is NEMA 4X. All membrane cleaning skid wiring is completed and tested before shipment.

By choosing pre-designed, module-sized plants, fully assembled in standard 20-ft and 40-ft containers with the option for a 10-ft as well, the complexity and construction of building a water purification plant is no longer necessary. The containerized system is shipped out to where the potable water is needed. we offer air-cooled insulated containers with an external sunlight rejection coating.
In cold climate area - fluids must be kept above their freezing points and electrical equipment suffers at temperatures below 5ºC. In this case, we offer insulated containers with heating equipment to solve this issue.

Pure Aqua's water softeners treat the water by removing hardness using resin. The resin replaces the hardness in the water with salt which is regenerated periodically. The Membrane BioReactor (MBR) is a state of the art pre-engineered sewage treatment system utilizing Pure Aqua’s water treatment expertise with Toray’s submerged membrane technology. The membrane separation process eliminates the conventional sedimentation tank and allows high volumetric loading, resulting in a smaller footprint. The MBR can produce high quality effluent with high BOD5 removal (about 98%), complete nitrification and partial de-nitrification and achieves virtually complete TSS removal.

Ultraviolet Sterilizers

Pure Aqua's UVI systems range from 2 to 1300 GPM and virtually eliminate microbiological contaminants without using potentially hazardous chemicals. Water enters through the bottom port of the ultraviolet generator cell and swirls around a low pressure mercury vapor lamp, which emits powerful ultraviolet light energy with a 235.7nm wavelength. Bacteria, viruses and other micro-organisms absorb the light energy which disrupts their DNA, and are destroyed safely inside a factory-tested stainless steel holding cell. The treated water then exits through the top port of the cell and is ready for consumption.

The antiscalant chemical from Pure Aqua, Inc. is designed to eliminate scale and reduce fouling in membrane systems. Pure Aqua, Inc. PA0100 is a liquid antiscalant/dispersant blended to inhibit scale and disperse colloidal particles in cellulose acetate and thin film membrane separation systems. The formulation has been certified by the National Sanitation Foundation ( NSF ) under ANSI/NSF Standard 60 for use in producing potable water.
