Pure Water Group has secured a significant repeat order for a SeaFloat barge-mounted power plant.

About six years ago, Pure Water Group designed and manufactured three customized Continuous Electrodeionization (CEDI) systems for its Spanish partner Pomar Water for an offshore power plant project in the Caribbean. The CEDI systems are part of a complete water treatment installation designed by Pomar Water and produce Ultrapure water for high-pressure steam generation.
For an extension of this project, Pomar Water has placed a repeat order with Pure Water Group for an additional three CEDI systems. As in the previous project, the systems are customized to fit within the limited available space onboard the floating power plant while still ensuring a significant production capacity of Ultrapure water.
CEDI technology guarantees high reliability, minimizes maintenance, and eliminates the use of regeneration chemicals, which is essential for offshore power applications.
