Rain Bird is looking for a Director of ERP to join our team.
The Director of ERP is responsible for the strategic planning, implementation, and management of the company’s new ERP system, Oracle Fusion Cloud. This role requires a visionary leader with a deep understanding of ERP systems, business processes, and project management. The Director of ERP will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the ERP system supports the company’s business goals and operations and will play a key role in our digital transformation journey
Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include:
- Work in conjunction with the ERP Program Director and the Systems Integrator on the design, implementation, and optimization of the Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP system.
- Provide leadership and direction to the ERP technical team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
- Oversee all technical aspects of ERP project management, including planning, budgeting, IT staffing, and risk management.
- Work with key stakeholders to identify business requirements and translate them into world-class business solutions.
- Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance within the ERP system.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive ERP strategy aligned with the business objectives.
- Monitor and evaluate ERP system performance, making necessary adjustments to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Manage relationships with ERP vendors and service providers.
Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- 10+ years of proven experience in a senior management role, preferably as a Director of ERP or equivalent position in successfully managing and implementing Oracle Fusion ERP projects, including system design, configuration, customization, and integration.
- Expertise in managing Oracle ERP modules such as Financials, Supply Chain, Procurement etc., Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OIC) and related tools.
- High-level working knowledge for core Finance, Manufacturing and Supply Chain processes (e.g., Record to Report, Plan to Deliver, Order to Cash lifecycle etc.).
- Advanced skill using Microsoft Office Suite applications and project management tools and Agile methodologies.
- Ability to deal with ambiguity and willingness to lead change.
- Exceptionally self-motivated and directed with keen attention to detail.
- Familiarity with industry regulations and compliance standards.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business Administration or related field.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Certifications such as Project Management Professional, Scaled Agile etc.
- Experience in the manufacturing industry
Pay Transparency:
Salary range for candidates based in California: $320,629.88 -$480,944.82. Salary range for candidates based in Colorado or New York CIty and New York State: $299,645 -$449,481. Salary ranges include base salary and annual incentive bonus if applicable. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
