Clay would be a very superior alternative to other types of floculants.
Costs would require to be addressed to determine the benefits.
You may also try to find out whether the clay can be made in to tablet form as the same would bee very ideal in water purification at household level level where water is not treated/ piped

Seems to be a very useful media for flocculation.More details including its economics as compared to flocculants, presently being used ,needs to be furnished.
