S.C. ROBOTERR SEWERAGE CONSTRUCTION S.R.L. is a Romanian firm which was established to develop and manufacture the Romanian Technology ROBOTERR SEWERAGE CONSTRUCTION™ , a sewerage construction technology.

This is a new technology for sewerage system construction, which is much more efficient and economical. It includes a robot, the main equipment of the technology, which performs all the operations that a worker would perform inside the sewerage trench. Alongisde it also includes some new hydraulic equipments to sustain the trench walls, and other equipments and accesories, all of them integrated in a car to facilitate the mobility and the flexibility of the technology.

The idea started constructing sewerage systems, which normally is done with trench shields (or trench shoring), being a difficult type of work. And then I found the solution. After research, the idea has proven to be novel, so I perfected it and patented it internationally.

The advantages of the technology are:

· Safer working conditions: The robot eliminates the need for one or more workers to enter the sewerage trench to perform the necessary operations, and besides that, it is remote controlled, resulting in much more secure and precise working conditions

· Economical: reduction of costs through:

o Reduction of the width of the sewerage trench, from a minimum of 900 mm according to the standards, to a minimum of 550 mm.

o Reduction of the quantity of sand used and reduction of the quantity of earth excavated by 30-40%

o The robot, being totally electric , has a power consumption of approximatively 1 EURO/day

· Technological:

o Levelling accuracy of +/- 1 cm from the level

o Superior quality of the sewerage systems executed with this technology

o Reduction of human errors (bad pipe joints, Sinusoidal slope, reversed slope etc.)

o Increased execution speed
