Request for project concept notes for grant support through the enterprise partnership initiative window of the integrated water resources management investment fund.
In the framework of implementing the Integrated Water Resources Management (IWRM) Program, under the Rwanda Water and Forest Authority (RWFA), applications for project cofunding support can now be made through the Enterprise Partnership Initiative (EPI) window of the IWRM Investment Fund (IIF).
The Integrated Water Resources Management (IWRM) Investment Fund (IIF) has been established in RWFA with initial funding from the Kingdom of the Netherlands and RWFA intends to use the part of the funds to co-fund IWRM project activities led by private sector firms in Rwanda.
Participation
The participation is open and RWFA now invites firms fulfilling the necessary conditions to submit Project Concept Notes (PCN) outlining investment projects and their capacity to deliver a project and the impacts that their project will deliver. Interested firms or consortium must provide information that includes a description of successfully implemented related assignments, the experience of the firm and the commitment of expertise that will support the project’s implementation. The PCN will outline the intended objectives, outcomes and beneficiaries of the project, partners’ contributions to the project and provide a summary of how the sustainability of the investment project will be secured. Following the closure of the Request for PCNs, a short list of projects will be compiled, with the best PCNs being invited to be developed into full proposals/business plans.
Interested firms may obtain further information which might include the PCN template and qualifying criteria from the Water for Growth Rwanda (W4GR) website ( www.water.rw ).
