Sedron Technologies is hiring a talented Industrial Project Manager
Sedron Technologies designs and manufactures advanced water, and waste upcycling technologies that transform the paradigm of Waste Processing to Resource Recovery . Because we design, build, commission, and operate our technologies, we are looking for a talented Industrial Project Manager who will be responsible and accountable to ensure all personnel and activities are coordinated with other project participants, company objectives and contractual requirements. You must possess sufficient technical knowledge and awareness of details to recognize when technical problems are developing within the project and the leadership skills to initiate appropriate corrective actions. The Technical Project Manager must also be someone who can meet the following essential functions of the position:
- Plan, schedule, lead, and coordinate the technical and management aspects of our projects
- Lead weekly project meetings with clients, subcontractors and internal staff
- Budget, manage and forecast project costs, cash flow and resourcing needs on projects using Sedron internal systems
- Create solicitation packages to competitively bid various areas of work as they relate to our overall projects and Sedron’s processing equipment
- Lead contract negotiations with subcontractors and equipment suppliers
- Visit project sites around the country as needed to build positive and lasting relationships and partnerships with clients and contractors
- Provide project stakeholders with periodic updates and reports as they relate to overall project health
- Provide support for Sedron’s equipment assembly crews during the execution of our projects
- Commit to continuous improvement of activities
- Prioritize duties and responsibilities in order to fulfill objectives
- Demonstrate the ability to work individually and within a multidisciplinary team, communicating and collaborating with technicians and engineers alike
- Comply with all safety, 5S, and HazMat practices
- Work well under pressure, meeting and completing multiple deadlines
- Demonstrate cooperative behavior with colleagues and supervisors
- Demonstrate passion and excitement for solving difficult yet exciting tasks
- Arrive to work on time and maintain good attendance
- Maintain good organization skills
- Perform other related duties as assigned
This position has multiple levels of competency to be determined by performance, certifications, and supervisor discretion.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent field experience
- Three or more years of experience managing industrial or MEP heavy commercial construction projects
- Technical experience with industrial or MEP heavy commercial construction projects
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities with multidisciplinary teams
- Successfully demonstrated experience with commanding the essential project control functions of estimating, scheduling, cost management, of highly technical projects
- Robust analytical and problem-solving skills
- Must be willing to travel to off-site projects as needed
- Minimum requirement for all positions is a high school diploma or GED
- Must have effective verbal and written communication skills in the English language
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
- Wage range for this role is between $77,000 and $130,000 annually plus a discretionary bonus, 401(k) matching, vacation, and health benefits. Employees can also receive additional pay for off-shifts, and off-site work. The range provided is Sedron's estimate of the base compensation for this role. Actual amount offered will be based on job-related and non-discriminatory factors such as experience, location, education, training, skills, and abilities.
