About the role
As the Senior Engineer - Hydrologist, you will provide expert flood operations and hydrology advice to assist with dam safety activities.
In this role you will be responsible for:
- Undertaking hydrology assessments and reviews of Seqwater dams
- Annual reporting of Seqwater’s Flood Operations Centre
- Manage and continually improve Seqwater’s flood forecasting system
- Undertake the duties of a Flood Engineer for Seqwater Dams
About you
- It is essential that you have a degree in Civil Engineering with a minimum of 7 years in a related role, along with current active RPEQ registration in a relevant discipline
- We are seeking a high level of demonstrated knowledge and experience in hydrology, with demonstrated understanding and application of Australian Rainfall and Runoff. Experience in dam structural design or design hydrology for dams will be highly regarded.
