Job Description

 

Currently we are looking for candidates for the position of  Controls & Instrumentation Engineer 

Location: Helsingborg                                                               

Department: Technical

This individual will be reporting to Technical Manager.

The Solenis site, based in Helsingborg produces products for water, paper, oilfield and mining industries. The plant is continuously working on improving and automating the process.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Working within the Technical Team you will be executing planned and preventative maintenance activities on a wide range of instrumentation and electrical equipment

• You will work within EHS requirements to ensure safe systems and practices are followed.

• You will be responsible for carrying out regulatory compliance inspections and testing instrumentation and electrical equipment

• You will be able to identify root cause of equipment failure and propose solutions needed to carry out required work.

• The role requires a good understanding of instrumentation and electrical equipment with the ability to install, fault find, inspect, test and repair.

• Effective communication and teamwork, you will lead other team members to resolve production / operational issues.

• Lead investment and maintenance projects as project manager or project participant where electricity, instruments and/or automation are a significant part of the project

The Individual

• You will have relevant degree in engineering, or 5+ years working experience in Automation and Instrumentation maintenance role.

• You will have a comprehensive knowledge of E&I standards and procedures, especially around Process safety and ATEX as is required for a low tier Seveso Site

• You should have the physical capability to carry out activities such as climbing ladders, walking up several flights of stairs, manual handling etc.

• You should be computer literate

• You will maintain a flexible approach to the role as required to support the Business needs of the Site.

• DeltaV or similar control system expierence in advantageous.

• Electrical authorization is beneficial

• Fluent in Swedish and good level of English
