SOURCE Global, PBC (SOURCE) manufactures and distributes SOURCE Hydropanels, an innovative manufacture SOURCE Hydropanels®, an innovative technology that is free of infrastructure and provides clean, safe, high quality, renewable drinking water in a variety of applications, including large arrays of Hydropanels producing large volumes of water (a SOURCE Field) dispensed through a proprietary, containerized treatment and dispensing station (the Source Access Station or SAS). SOURCE Hydropanels and SOURCE Fields are installed globally in over 45 countries.
SOURCE is hiring for a Senior Water Quality Specialist to join our Water Quality team. This role is based in Scottsdale/Tempe, AZ and will report to the Director of Water Quality. At a glance, this position is responsible for monitoring and maintaining the water quality produced by SOURCE Hydropanels and Source Fields and for providing direct support for the Director of Water Quality.
In this role, you will have hands on and oversight in the following areas:
- Water Quality Testing
- Water quality testing for SOURCE Hydropanels (materials testing and installed Hydropanels) and SOURCE Fields
- Supports Engineering and Supply in ensuring that all materials used in SOURCE meet water quality certification requirements.
- Oversees and Maintains database of water test results
- Implements Water Quality Test Plans for SOURCE Fields in accordance with the contractual requirements
- Develops, maintains, trains and audits staff on standard operating procedures for field water testing.
- Water Quality Assessment
- Assesses water quality results against jurisdictional standards and requirements in various countries.
- Works with Legal Department to ensure compliance with all applicable water quality standards
- Acts as the Primary Point of Contact for contracted laboratories
- Ensures proper water quality testing methods and protocols are followed by field team, third-party installers, and contracted laboratories
- Engages and collaborates with BD to support current and future customers in meeting regulatory compliance requirements.
- Diagnoses and manages any water quality issues in the field

- Detailed knowledge of safe drinking water regulations globally.
- Detailed knowledge of SOURCE technology.
- Highly developed problem-solving capability and the ability to implement solutions quickly and effectively.
- Exceptional technical writing and communication skills.
- Familiarity with measurements tools, metrology/analytical toolsets and interpretation of data.
- Strong knowledge of Office suite.
- Ability to work well with others in a collaborative team environment.
- Excellent customer service skills required.
- Able to carry loads of up to 25lbs for short distances.

REQUIREMENTS
- BS or BA Degree in Environmental Science, Microbiology, Chemistry or related field, or
- Equivalent work experience in drinking water applications, drinking water regulations, water treatment methodology, analytical methods and environmental laboratory experience, drinking water sampling procedures and protocols
A DAY IN THE LIFE
As a Senior Water Quality Specialist at SOURCE Global, you’ll spend a significant portion of your day providing cross-functional support within the greater SOURCE Global team including R&D, Manufacturing, R&D, Supply Chain and Field Operations and Business Development. You will work closely with the Environmental Specialist on the day-to-day operations of the Water Quality team which may include reviewing and analyzing laboratory and field data alongside of reviewing trends on Source Global’s remote operation platform and its effects on water quality to provide feedback to multiple departments.
The typical work schedule is Monday-Friday, 8AM-5PM. Some weekends may be required when targets are not achieved.
