ABOUT THE PROJECT
Industrial client meets NPDES compliance by pumping to offsite treatment facility
Water is a critical natural resource for this U.S.-based international healthcare corporation because it is used extensively in both the manufacturing and sterilizing processes. The company's environmental, health, safety and sustainability policy drives programs that reduce environmental impacts, including those related to water use and wastewater discharges. To meet the EPA’s National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) compliance they needed to address issues around chlorides and total dissolved solids from their water softeners.
