Who are we looking for?
Qualifications/Requirements
· Bachelor’s Degree with an Engineering, Chemistry, or related science degree
· At least 10 years engineering or technical sales work experience in a refinery
Skills and Abilities
· Demonstrated strong problem solving and analytical skills
· Demonstrated consultative solution development skills
· Ability to build and expand relationships with customer contacts
· Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, and listening) and adept in public speaking, presentations, and seminars
· Technically literate with an aptitude to understand, present, and position our solutions to customers
· Highly organized with ability to manage multiple projects
· Demonstrated excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
What will you be doing?
Role Summary/Purpose
The Senior Account Manager role with Suez Water Technologies & Solutions Chemical Monitoring Solutions (CMS) business is responsible for working closely with assigned existing customers to provide support for current applications and developing new relationships with prospects to grow existing application and account base.
Essential Functions/Responsibilities
- Develop key relationships with customers and prospects through the following methods: identify and engage key decision makers within existing and potential new accounts, utilize strategic questioning, and drive to root issues to identify customers’ needs.
- Provide technical support for customers and prospects in recommending and designing treatment solutions
- Lead and participate in customer sales program presentations and articulating the differentiating aspects of CMS’ water treatment programs
- Provide guidance regarding applicable product related engineering standards
- Engage technical staff and management as needed to develop retention and growth strategies.
- Establish professional relationships with key personnel in customer accounts.
- Troubleshoot technical and site-specific process issues
- Effectively audit key unit operations
