About the Job
Texas Instruments (TI) is looking for a Subject Matter Expert (SME)specializing in Ultrapure and Deionized Water systems with semiconductorapplications. This SME will be a part of a Global Support Team (GST) ofexperts supporting all facility systems involved with semiconductormanufacturing in Asia, Europe, and North America.
Responsibilities include:
· Guide and support site system owners to ensure safe, reliable, efficient operation ofsystems and capacity before manufacturing demand.
· Interface with site leadership to comprehend growth plans and process changes, capitalplanning to accommodate expansion, reliability improvements, and efficiencyenhancements.
· Protect TI through ownership of environmental compliance of worldwide wastewater systems.
· Understand unique challenges of semiconductor manufacturing and provide appropriate technicalsolutions to meet site needs and TI standards.
· Develop technical talent at a Global level leading cross functional teams across multiple sites.
Tasks and duties include:
-Model strong system ownership to site counterparts and support site usage and understanding of key facilities processes
· Capacity/Demand
· FMEA andSystem Design Processes
· 3×5 Why andRoot Cause Fan-out
· Project andProgram Management
-Develop technical talent by providing both general and targeted 1 on 1 training as necessary.
-Develop and maintain appropriate procedures and ensure they are utilized and followed.
-Support continuous improvement efforts within the plant in terms of efficiency, reliability, quality, 5S,health/safety, and environmental issues.
-Provide engineering or maintenance support, including customer related issues.
-Actively support corporate ESH programs and policies.
-Build relationships with TI technical talent to facilitate solutions and actively seek out or research new information as necessary to solve problems.
-Provide/lead problem solving efforts within each plant relating to production/labor efficiency, reliability,quality, 5S, ergonomics, health/safety, and environmental issues.
Flexibilityto travel internationally.
MinimumRequirements:
-Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering with at least 10 years of experience in ultrapure or DI water systems preferably in the semiconductor industry
-Strong technical contributor who is passionate about engineering and will serve as aconduit of information.
-Excellent facilitation, collaboration, and communication skills necessary to interface effectively across cultural and language gaps with business partners, external suppliers, and team members.
-Strong organizational and time management skills to support multiple projects across several sites simultaneously
-Demonstrated teaching/coaching skills and servant-leadership approach to relationships with site owners.
-Flexibility to travel internationally.

• Experience with design, installation, and operation of the following systems in the semiconductor industry: Industrial Wastewater Treatment Systems, DeionizedWater Systems, Biological Water Treatment Systems
• Demonstrated strong analytical and problem solving skills
Ability to work in teams and collaborate effectively with people in different functions
•Ability to take the initiative and drive for results
