The role- Our Process Operator is an integral part of our production team and will be performing functions to create quality products for Tidal Vision. They are responsible for retrieving, weighing, handling and mixing chemical ingredients. Monitoring equipment during the chemical process, repairing machinery if problems arise, accurately recording information about equipment. Completing process, quality, and inventory control while assisting in the planning and improvement of processes or products. Duties may also include loading and unloading trucks and managing warehouse inventory on an as needed basis. Your team- Being part of the Operations means you are directly responsible for Customer Satisfaction by providing the ability to fulfill orders to meet the Customers needs. The team maintains the agility to support new product trials or product scaleup for Customer or R&D needs. The team truly owns their portion of the operations from equipment maintenance & readiness to driving continuous improvements relating to any aspect of the production processes. Most importantly we are responsible for the safety of the entire Tidal Vision team.
What you’ll do-
- Run the production line.
- Inventory control
- Supporting QAQC testing and documenting results.
- Maintain the equipment and cleanliness of the production line assigned.
- Store, retrieve, mix, and monitor chemicals used in the production process.
- Accurately record information such as: ingredients, weights, temperature, and record data.
- Demonstrate a high level of attention to detail and quality work.
- Demonstrate initiative with the ability to perform daily duties with little oversight.
- Troubleshoot issues with production equipment and processes.
- Observe all company, local, state, and federal safety and quality regulations.
- Report accidents, safety violations, or other concerns.
- Assist in planning and improving processes and product quality.
Skills you own-
- Meet physical requirements of the position, including walking, standing, or sitting for extended periods, lifting heavy objects, climbing, crouching, operating tools, and wearing safety gear.
- Ability to operate a forklift safely and effectively.
- Load and unload trucks utilizing forklift or other equipment.
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Additional relevant education (i.e. Technical College) preferred
- Forklift certification preferred
