UAV-IQ

About

UAV-IQ supplies actionable information and decision-making tools to agricultural clients enabling more efficient cultivation and harvest. With expertise in drones, remote sensing and agriculture, the company bridges the gap between the booming industry of drone-based data collection and agriculture clients who need the resulting information to support them in making effective decisions. UAV-IQ offers crop consultants and field managers valuable workflow management tools enabling teams of any size and locations to efficiently utilize remote sensing data, and its platform can standardize drone-acquired imagery as well as complimentary information, regardless of where or by whom it is collected. It also offers an enterprise platform which can improve the utilization, reporting and dissemination of information across organizations and multidisciplinary research teams.

UAV-IQ builds 3-D models of the environment due to the high overlap rates UAV operators generally use to collect the datasets used for crop health monitoring. This includes topographic maps, hydrology charts, solar/shade maps, and other highly detailed environmental models to be employed for a variety of purposes, including irrigation design and analyzing the suitability of locations for specific crops. Ground control points can be added to flight surveys in order to achieve survey grade topographic maps suitable for engineer certified planning documents. Additional data sets such as soil maps and wind charts can also be incorporated from outside sources to provide comprehensive assessments and recommendations.
