Founded in 1988, many decades after most of its institutions. It is a Tunisian pole of training and research with the status of public institution administratively reporting to the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. Is built on a multidisciplinary scheme that combines the basic sciences, legal and political sciences, sciences of technology and agronomic engineering, economics and management, humanities, arts and architecture.
