This is very interesting, but to pitch this as 'affordable' is a bit of a stretch. This system produces at 300-400 Wh/l. Current RO systems can produce at 2.8 Wh/l from seawater. So unless the power is free (which it might be if solar costs keep falling!) this is not going to be economically attractive from an OPEX p.o.v. It would help to understand the CAPEX as well. I love this idea, but at the moment it only seems to be useful where there is no source of water at all (which usually means there are no people either) and a super-abundace of low cost / free power.
