We are looking for a Product Designer to join our Design team in Finland. Depending on your preference, you would be working either in our premises in Oulu or in Helsinki. In this full time role you will be responsible for creating world-class experiences for our products in collaboration with our other designers and stakeholders. You will work as part of our UROS Live team driving forward the design of our global platform for events, creating better experiences for fans and event-goers and driving new revenue streams and synergies for businesses.

In this position you will make sure our products fulfill desired business requirements, answer the customer needs and solve their biggest problems. You will create quick mockups and prototypes with the most current design tools and validate the solutions rapidly with the help of other designers in our team. You have experience in different validation methods and have a passion for polished, intuitive, and accessible user experiences. You will work closely with other designers, product managers and developers to help create intuitive, seamless, and valuable experiences for our customers. You will work through the entire design process, from participating in discovery research and brainstorming to visual design and execution with our developers.

The position includes working with areas such as

+  Designing world-class user experiences for global audiences
+  Bringing concepts and experiments into life by balancing the ideal customer experience with technical constraints, experimentation strategy, or business risk
+  Translating complex problems into compelling solutions with a user-centric and data-driven approach
+  Creating concepts, visual design mockups, wireframes, sketches, prototypes, and supporting design specifications and documentation
+  Testing and validating designs and ideas with potential customers and users
+  Collaborating with designers, development teams and other internal stakeholders to solve the right problems
+  Supporting business owners and product management in decision making by proving customer insights

 

What qualities are we looking for?

+  5+ years of experience designing new innovations end-to-end
+  Knowledge of Service Design methods and tools
+  Proficiency in modern design and prototyping tools and techniques (Figma, InVision, Adobe CC and/or similar)
+  Strong background in UX/UI Design,  and/or User Research. Visual Design skills are considered a plus
+  Experience in working hand in hand with development teams
+  Confidence working with Scrum framework and practices
+  Strong information sharing skills between individuals and within teams throughout the organization to help build and promote the UROS Design culture
+  Excellent collaboration and communication skills
+  Fluent written and spoken English
