Job Description
Pay Rate: $125000 to $150000 Per Year.

Primary Duties/Responsibilities:
- The incumbent is responsible for managing and overseeing the optimization of water quality and compliance with the federal Safe Drinking Water Act & Clean Water Act and related state requirements for the Utility operations (“Utility Division”).
- The incumbent identifies and directs the application of processes and systems for continuous improvement and compliance with water quality regulations throughout the Utility Division.
- Incumbent is responsible for helping to support and establish division strategy and policy with respect to water treatment operations, emerging contaminants, and quality control.
- Works closely with Technical Services & Performance, division-level EHS professionals, and operations to ensure compliance with all water quality regulations.
- This includes strategies to manage water quality challenges, anticipate & understand regulatory trends and develop the appropriate strategies and processes for local quality managers to ensure facilities compliance, manage risk, and to deliver the appropriate reporting and communications to the group.
Qualifications
Education/Experience/Background:
- BA in chemistry, environmental engineering, or environmental science, or a related.
- Masters level degree in related field preferred.
- 10 plus years of related experience.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- In-depth knowledge of federal and state drinking water regulations.
- Working knowledge of water chemistry and treatment processes is required.
- Excellent managerial and supervisory abilities, organization, and oral & written communication skills.
- Proficient in Excel, Google Sheets, and other computerized systems.
