Overview of Role/Job Purpose:
The CIS Essentials Solution Architect is overall responsible for the VertexOne Essentials CIS solution for an implementation/customer from a functional perspective.
The solution architect is also engaged in new sales pursuits, designing solutions and implementation plans, as well as participating in system demonstrations.
Essential Duties:
- Support full life cycle engagements, as overall responsible for the VertexOne solution from a functional standpoint.
- Managing implementation scope and timeline together with project manager.
- Design solutions for new sales opportunities, including designing implementation timelines and resources models.
- Participate in demonstration workshops.
- Requirements
Skills/Qualifications:
- Has completed multiple full life-cycle implementations as functional team lead or solution architect.
- A thorough understanding of utility meter to cash processes.
- Expert process and configuration knowledge of one or more functional areas within the Utilities solution.
- Ability to work closely with functional leads and client to find solutions and identify business process improvements.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and strong interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a collaborative, dynamic, fast paced team environment
Advantageous skills:
- Knowledge and experience of CIS solutions
- Knowledge and experience of mobile workforce management, customer self-service, meter data management and analytics solutions.
Travel:
This position requires approximately 5-10% travel.
