Overview of Role/Job Purpose:

The CIS Essentials Solution Architect is overall responsible for the VertexOne Essentials CIS solution for an implementation/customer from a functional perspective.

The solution architect is also engaged in new sales pursuits, designing solutions and implementation plans, as well as participating in system demonstrations.

Essential Duties:

• Support full life cycle engagements, as overall responsible for the VertexOne solution from a functional standpoint.
• Managing implementation scope and timeline together with project manager.
• Design solutions for new sales opportunities, including designing implementation timelines and resources models.
• Participate in demonstration workshops.
• Requirements

Skills/Qualifications:

• Has completed multiple full life-cycle implementations as functional team lead or solution architect.
• A thorough understanding of utility meter to cash processes.
• Expert process and configuration knowledge of one or more functional areas within the Utilities solution.
• Ability to work closely with functional leads and client to find solutions and identify business process improvements.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and strong interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a collaborative, dynamic, fast paced team environment

Advantageous skills:

• Knowledge and experience of CIS solutions
• Knowledge and experience of mobile workforce management, customer self-service, meter data management and analytics solutions.

Travel:

This position requires approximately 5-10% travel.
