Job Overview
The Head of Corporate Partnerships leads and builds strategic corporate partnerships that will help shape the next stage of evolution and growth at Water.org. These partnerships will include multi-national and national corporations, foundations, and related segments. This leader brings seasoned experience overseeing the end-to-end fundraising cycle from prospecting, cultivation to securing gifts, with an emphasis on flexible revenue, to drive significant and life-changing impact.

Job-specific Accountabilities
Corporate Revenue Strategy
Lead articulation and oversight of a comprehensive corporate revenue strategy that drives growth through corporate fundraising channels and drives and successfully delivers engagement tailored to specific audiences and stakeholders. Develops timely revenue projections and provides complete, accurate internal reporting on donor outreach and related activities.
Strategic Relationship Management
Establishes and owns new, high-impact, fundraising partnerships with a focus on corporate giving, foundations, and related segments. Lead development and implementation of strategies and tactics related to securing a robust base of partnerships. Strategically collaborate to meet individual, department, and organizational fundraising goals, targeting gifts in the seven-figure+ range.
Opportunity Development + Communication
Works collaboratively with related internal teams to define and oversee a cohesive plan to define new opportunities aligned with Water.org’s strategy. Provides a unique value proposition for ESG, sustainability and related trends within the corporate giving space. Partners to build donor insights and research on an ongoing basis, prioritizing prospect outreach and positioning the organization to be a first mover on aligned opportunities and interests.

- Ability to cultivate and maintain high-value philanthropic partnerships that drive revenue growth and advance Water.org's global scaling strategy.
- Leverages deep and broad experience on fundraising strategies and tactics for strategic donor segments, involving entrepreneurial thinking and commercial acumen.
- Ability to manage complex projects and relationships, requiring adaptive thinking and solutions to unique, strategic circumstances and requirements.
- Superior communication and presentation skills, including highly developed skills to motivate, inspire and persuade.

Required Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, communication, project management or related field and/or equivalent related work experience.
- 12 or more years of progressive front-line experience in fundraising, complex sales relationships and/or business development within an international organization.
- Proven track record of successful business development within Fortune 500 and multi-million-dollar partnerships.
- Proficient (written and verbal) in English.
Travel Requirement
Up to 25% of domestic and international travel.
Being authorized to work in the country posted is a precondition of employment.
This position's desired location is within the East or West Coast of the United States. The following states are preferred: California, Connecticut, New York, New Jersey, Washington, Washington, DC, and Pennsylvania. Other states registered to hire are as follows: Colorado, Georgia, Florida, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Massachusetts, Maryland, Missouri, North Carolina, Nebraska, Oregon, South Carolina, Texas, Utah, Virginia.

Salary and Benefits
This position offers a base salary range of $125,000-$170,000. In addition, this position is eligible to participate in our annual incentive plan up to 20%. This position offers full-time benefits inclusive of medical/dental insurance, life and disability insurance, retirement program, paid time off, paid holidays and more as well as periodic review for merit and incentive pay based on organizational and personal achievement.
