About
Water4CapeTown is an NPC working to build a future for water for all, where our mission is to become a leading non-profit working towards the creation of a sustainable global community. Our work aims to increase access to green-related information and technology, specifically among our most vulnerable groups, and empower the citizens of the world to take action in the movement towards an eco-friendly society. We work with efforts to improve environmental education, develop water-saving infrastructure, build sustainable urban centres, and to invest in the vital knowledge production needed to work towards bettering our green lifestyles.While Water4CapeTown found our inspiration and spark of life during the Cape Town Water Crisis, we believe in the philosophy that human beings and the environment cannot be separated. That is why we are expanding to invest all of our efforts into building a global relationship with the natural world. We know that the future of humanity relies on this work done towards sustainable living, and we are putting every drop of sweat, and every cent donated towards achieving this goal. Specifically, we are working to ensure that our lower income and disadvantaged communities do not get left behind in the surge towards better environmental practice, with our aim being to make these groups a central priority. The biggest danger our society faces is forgetting those who are less equipped to move towards this new way of being. We pledge to work to ensure these communities are empowered within this global shift towards a green and sustainable lifestyle. Our work began with the water crisis in South Africa, and we hope to see it conclude with the compatibility of the environment with all of humankind. We can create a world of perfect harmony, and our aim to protect water for all citizens is a key instrument to building this global orchestra.
