WaterMe concept

WaterMe is an award winning solution to save trees, engage climate action and revolutionize greenery care in cities. During droughts most urban trees need water, but cities don't have enough capacity and water for them. We engage people in watering of trees, which is necessary to keep the trees alive but also a great opportunity with enormous impact. 
WaterMe concept builds on technology, research and synergies with partners to create a win-win situation for the city, environment and communities. We inspire and educate people by our "Green Oases" and by other channels. Our app shows the trees, that need water and allows users to log watering. It will reward users, notify them to water the trees, inspire further action and coordinate watering. We will use IoT sensors, satellite data, AI and M/L to build digital twins of trees and provide engaging user experience. 
Cities and people save not only trees, but also an interesting amount of money, connect with so-minded people and inspire others. And the most important, the WaterMe users do a positive, long-term activity for something close to their hearts, which boosts their motivation to combat climate change. Watering of trees is then probably the best behavior-changing activity for people in towns and cities. Considering the fast climate change it is very important, that it becomes quickly a common thing to keep cities green and accelerate the society transformation.
