Wint raises $36 million Series D to use AI to detect water risks before they become costly

Wint has raised $36 million in a Series D round as the Israeli company seeks to expand its use of AI to detect water waste and potential damage in commercial and industrial buildings before leaks turn into costly incidents.

The round was co-led by LIP Ventures and Inven Capital. Wint, which employs around 100 people, including 70 in Israel, said the new capital will be used to accelerate product development and expand its presence in global markets.

The company’s pitch is built around a problem that can be easy to overlook until it becomes expensive: buildings consume, waste and lose enormous amounts of water, while leaks can cause significant damage to properties and disrupt operations. Wint’s platform uses AI algorithms to analyze water data in real time, allowing facilities and risk teams to identify where water is being used, wasted or lost before damage occurs.

Wint serves enterprises, commercial and residential facilities, general contractors and mission-critical facilities. Its customers are seeking to reduce water waste and the cost of water-related damage while improving operational efficiency and their environmental performance.
