PearlAqua Double Innovation Feature Aquatech Amsterdam

Florence, Kentucky (October 12, 2015)— AquiSense Technologies has been selected to exhibit in the BlueTech Innovation Pavilion as part of the Aquatech Amsterdam Exhibition, November 3-6, at the Amsterdam RAI Exhibition and Convention Center in the Netherlands

PearlAquaâ„¢, AquiSense’s new UV-C LED disinfection system, has been nominated for the Aquatech Innovation Award for the category Not Yet to Market. Winners will be announced at the opening ceremonies of Aquatech, on November 2.

AquiSense is one of just 8 companies selected to exhibit in the Innovation Pavilion, due to the ingenuity of the PearlAqua, the world’s first UV-C LED production product for water disinfection. The PearlAqua system incorporates state of the art UV-C LEDs into a compact water treatment unit, without the use of chemicals or mercury-based UV lamps. These LEDs also allow for instant, full-intensity power on start-up, unlimited cycling, and remote start/stop. PearlAqua can be used in a range of applications including life sciences, medical devices, transportation, and commercial water. Standing only 103 mm (4 inches) high, the compact PearlAqua can be seamlessly integrated into water treatment systems, providing maximum water security.

Also on display will be AquiSense’s PearlBeamâ„¢, a compact collimated beam device which employs UV-LEDs emitting radiation in the germicidal range. Its small size and ease of use allows the realization of a table-top homogenized UV delivery system, which can be operated virtually anywhere in laboratory or even field locations. Unlike mercury-lamp systems, the PearlBeam features a narrow band emission and is available in a suite of individually selectable wavelengths.

You can find AquiSense and the Pearl line of products at stand 07.552 in the Innovation Pavilion.
