Caustic Recovery Plant for textile processing

Published on by in Technology

We are trying to find a solution to treat effluent generated from the mercerizing process in the textile industry. The caustic soda (NaOh, also known as sodium hydroxide or lye) is the major issue. The concentration of caustic soda is up to 8%. People use evaporators to get its concentration up to 22% for its recycling. But the operating cost is very high due to the use of steam. Can somebody suggest us a Low Operating Cost Technology for caustic laden waste of 50 KLD ?

    Dear Mr.Sandeep,

we have our patented advaced technology for effluent recycling & zero liquid discharge which can operate on 1/3 opex as compare to multi effect evaporator. i am also attaching catalogue for the same.

  2. Recovery or Disposal?

You can try using waste heat from one of the processes on site (drying) to concentrate the Caustic for re-use. Alternatively use any spent acidic waste waters from within your processes (supplemented with commercial concentrated acid if required) to neutralise the pH for disposal.

  3. Dear Sir, Please send us your complete inquiry/RFQ along with the physical and chemical analysis report for the waste water , by an NABL approved laboratory. We will review the report and design a suitable treatment system for your requirement. best regards for GREEN TECHNOLOGY PRODUCTS AND SERVICES VIRAF S MEHTA tel ...09022731742 email --- viraf@gtpsonline.com
