Hello everyone, we are saying that water is a human right, doues it mean it should be free of cost everywhere? Will every country provide the water free of cost to the people?

Water is a public good, not a commodity.
Read this report a fact sheet bY united Nations, Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR), United Nations Human Settlements Programme (UN-Habitat), World Health Organization (WHO). 2010y This fact sheet explains what the right to water is, illustrates what it means for specific individuals and groups, and then elaborates upon State obligations with respect to the right. It concludes with an overview of national, regional and international accountability and monitoring mechanisms. http://www.ohchr.org/Documents/Publications/FactSheet35en.pdf -
According to me it should not be free but the charges should be domain specific, like domestic charges should be less than the industry consumption charges..

The right to water does not mean that water has to be delivered for free, but it must be affordable, as well as safe, accessible and sufficient. However, through the acceptance of a right to water, there is explicit recognition that water is a social and cultural good, as well as an economic good.
