As you probably know, do the reading and work any practice questions. The exams are made easy by putting in the effort. Make your own flash cards. In Florida, look up the Florida Rural Water Association and take their classes. Self-study through CSUSAC Office of Water Programs is also good, and inexpensive, offering water treatment, water distribution and wastewater courses.
All the best,

Don't worry it's easy.

Dale, I have studied for and passed four license exams in the State of Michigan.
My stratigy has been to make the provided study guide from the State into a detailed outline for the various topics using the Sacramento Water Treatment 1 & 2 books. Taking the time to find the information to make the outline has proven to be helpful for myself.
Flashcards have also been in my tool kit.
Practice questions from AWWA publications have been very helpful too and they somewhat recently have made an App for studying for license exams.
If I am having trouble understanding a concept (let’s day the break point chlorination curve, for example) I have found a YouTube search can be helpful too.
Good luck!

Hi Dale,
The best classes i have seen and taken are from CSUS in Sacramento, Ca.
They have an assortment of classes that can be done online. what you want here is the Ken Kerry courses. They are very reasonable cost wise and very thorough. Good luck.

Your Water License is only valid for 1 year you have to present you a cert that shows you have been working with water the last year

Hi Dale, For clarification we assume since you are in Florida in the US that you are talking about Class B or Class C "Water and Domestic Wastewater Operator Certification Program" ? Have you already taken this online course ? American Water College has an Exam prep online see the LINK HERE
There are also a number of free practice tests on You Tube
University of FLA at TREEO has also a number of course, they are more $$
FLASH cards are a good way to learn we find
Then there is Sewer Geek practice questions
Hi everybody, much appreciated if you can share your experiences with the various options for Dale.
