  2. Dear Gadekarjee,

I had some notes on bio-gas based on water-hyacinth, made some times in 1981-82. I am in Pune and available on apteuk@gmail.com. I have some literature on bio-gas (collected at that time). You may visit Agharkar Institute for Science Cultivation (near BMCCollege) Deccan Gymkhana, Pune. It carried out studies on bio-gas.

    With regards,

  3. Hi. Seek info from Delhi Ngo AFPRO.. The hyacinths collection requires to be

Consolidated cured and added with material having C H.. Pl proceed..well wishes..

  4. Have you though to use your water hyacinth as a natural coagulant. I am not 100% sure that it works but you should run tests with wastewater and polymer. You might have good surprises!

    1. Good to see the new orientation of use of water hyacinth as a coagulant. Have you any research paper on the content mentioned. Secondly is there any ongoing plant which uses the water hyacinth as coagulant. Can it be used as low cost and natural coagulant with good efficacy.

Please share such kind of research to see water hyacinth as coagulant.

      1. I don't know for water hyacinth but it works with tannin of rose for example. It is a natural coagulant, and it has the property to not coagulate the phosphorus. It has been used more and more in europe, even if it is still a small market. Run your tests! You will know!

  5. You need to avoid Fe as to cluster particles and have a skimmer in the bassin to collect particles put them into a digester making Bio gas and install some gas engines with boilers on the exhaust to maximize output.

But think in ATEX and Zones as you are dealing with explosive gas
