"Hello #LinkedIn community! Does anyone in my network work in (re)insurance industry or have knowledge on financial tools that mitigate #water and #climate challenges? Do you have 10-15 minutes to answer a few questions?
The past year I've been working with an amazing team reconstructing missing water sensor data and building a model to predict water availability in California. We're now interested in learning from insurance professionals and exploring the impact of extreme events (e.g., drought, floods, whiplash at desired time-space scales, etc.) on insurance policies and impacted communities. In advance, thank you for your time! Please like or share! Indrani Pal, PhD, Tushar Agrawal, Xiuyang G., Krishna Bhogaonker, Valerie Were, Ph.D."
