Up flow anaerobic sludge blanket technology (UASB) tank
Published on by Ho` Ha, WWTP supervisor at musimmas group in Technology
Dear ALL
I am operating the UASB in waste water treatment plant. I wanna ask about the perfect parameter to maintain the affection for UASB, what is the COD, TSS, O&G, phosphorus, Nitrogen...
Thank you!

it is industrial wastewater from vegetal oil production. thanks

Ok, I would be surprised if there were enough nutrients to make the process work. Not sure what all you may need to add. Ammonia and phosphorus, likely. Micro-nutrient metals, Mg, Mn, Zn, Fe, sure someone will add what I have missed. It can be a challenge to find the limiting factor in industrial waste.

UASB is two stage Anaerobic and the key points are as follows: VFA, HRT, COD, Soluble COD, ULV or up flow liquid velocity...start from 0.1-0.6 and you can run in term of acid to get more granules or neutral less granular and base (Basic) you will get block granule with hight methane may be 70%. So a lots of tip to operate UASB....

@.. We can supply Any Water Plasma, Electro-Oxidation Technology in which a Programmable Logic Controlled (PLC) high voltage energy pulse is delivered directly into contaminated water at a controlled frequency. This energy pulse initiates primary and secondary electron avalanches which produce multiple oxidants (like OH, H, O, O3 and H2O2) and simultaneously creates high intensity UV radiation measuring between 60nm and 300nm. During the discharge of the pulse, an acoustic and hydrosonic shock wave travels through the reactor at 3 to 4 times Mach speed. AWP is combined with micro-nanobubble generator and any waste water can be cleaned and disinfected
and also which cnbe integrated with inomax dehydrator to dewater form 90-99% to 50% ..
You don't need complicated chemical and biological treatment for clean water.
