Exclusive Interview: How Has Jonah Energy Been Managing Its Flowback Water?   Exclusive Speaker Interview: Alex Davidson, Facilities Engineer, Jonah Energy   "Although the current level of activity in the industry may not warrant capital deployment for water infrastructure, it does provide an opportunity for forward planning while waiting for a rebound in the commodity markets"   The Rocky Mountain plays are home to several water qualities, some more compatible with varying reservoir types than others, however all water requires different degrees of treatment before it can be pumped down hole. Additionally, the biggest thing operators continue to deal with is cost control, whether it's for water treatment or logistics. But the bigger, overarching issue is the economics of produced water management.
