Hydrology is an old subject that deals with water and its flow. The study of hydrology enables us to learn about floods, drought, irrigation, etc. It helps to understand how we can use the flow of water to produce energy or whether this water is drinkable or not. In recent years the advent of data mining and analysis technologies and advanced techniques like IoT, ICT, etc. has enhanced the applicability and readiness of this subject.
