Hi everyone, I'm working for a niche NGO called Plastic Oceans-HK - we are embarking on an exciting project, a feature-length movie, which will be released in early 2016, on the issue of plastics in the marine environment. The movie will highlight the impacts plastics are having on marine wildlife and the food chain - which ultimately leads to us! One of the more intractable issues in the sheer amount of plastics we are finding on our beaches and in our oceans is drinking water bottles. We are totally addicted to buying water when we are out and about - and then we throw away the bottle. And often, its not done as it should be and ends up in the environment. So here is the challenge - what can we do to reverse this trend of billions of water bottles being used once and then simply tossed away? to cause harm? Really welcome your thoughts - and the Foundation will highlight you and your idea for good!
